Where it lives
On your phone. The understanding happens on-device, and your kitchen syncs across your own devices through your own iCloud. There’s no account to create, and nothing leaves your phone.
What a shared kitchen shares
If you use Tuck Together, the dishes you save to the kitchen sync through a shared iCloud zone among the people you invite - up to four. Anything you mark ‘Only you’ stays yours; the rest of the kitchen never sees it.
